Takada Bunjiro (高田文二郎)
Bunjiro TAKADA (1838 - October 20, 1868), from Edo, Musashi Province, was a member of the Shinsengumi. He served as Kikaikata Shitayaku (lower class noble in charge of machinery).
After the outbreak of Boshin War, he joined the Shisengumi.
He participated in the Battle of Shirakawaguchi and the Battle of Bonari-toge (Aizu war), and was dispatched to Echigo-guchi Takaku-mura as a reinforcement of the Aizu clan.
It is said that he was killed in Nyoraido attack by the New government army. He died at the age of 31.
